We are equipped with x-ray machines (general and dental ) and a modern automatic digital processor so we can take x-rays and have them processed in seconds.
It is important to have your pet keep still and be well positioned for xrays. Hence we must sedate your pet while an x-ray is performed, unless there are medical reasons where this is not advisable.
X-rays are an important diagnostic tool in the clinic and can be used to help diagnose fractures, as well as bladder stones, heart size, chest conditions, arthritic changes, foreign bodies , dental abnormalities and more.

Please do not go to the emergency clinic if it is not urgent/life threatening. ( Runny eyes/nose , coughing , limping , itching & etc can wait until the morning to be seen by our day vet )
If you are very worried or unsure if you are dealing with an emergency about your pet after clinic hours and you are a client with us you can reach Dr Chris on his emergency phone until 10pm or again from 7am each day
